Psychotherapy Clinic
The Nasirullah Psychotherapy Unit (NPU) is an outpatient mental health clinic within the department of clinical psychology, University of Dhaka. Confidential services of NPU are available to anyone in the community including children, adolescents, adults and older adults.
The NPU is equipped with expert panel of psychotherapist (M. Phil in Clinical Psychology) to treat a wide range of psychological and emotional disorders, such as
Adults:
- Depression,
- anxiety,
- obsessive compulsive disorder,
- bi-polar
- Social phobia
- Sleep disorders like insomnia
- Somatoform disorder like conversion, somatization
Child and adolescents:
- ADHD
- School Phobia
- Learning disabilities
- Conduct disorder
- Depression
- Behavioral and emotional problems during childhood
- Study difficulties and inattentiveness
- Test and other specific anxiety
Psychological Therapy and Counseling services includes-
- Individual Therapy for mental health problems
- Couples Therapy with couple conflict
- Family Therapy
- Child/Adolescent Therapy for behavioral and emotional problems
- Group Therapy (CBT & Psychodrama)

Our clinic remains open for 6 days a week from Saturday to Thursday for 10 am to 7pm. (except Friday and Govt. Holidays)

Appointment system
When a person contact NPU, NPU will enlist his/her name and contact details and inform them to wait until NPU office will call them and fix a schedule with a clinical psychologist. Usually NPU offers few slots to the client and the person (who is willing to have our services) need to confirm that appointment offered by the Clinic Manager, NPU. After confirming with client NPU will block a fixed time slot for that person. Please note that NPU is a fully occupied clinic where everyone need to have appointment from office first.
Service fee:
800 BDT per session for individual therapy
800 BDT per online session individual therapy
1800 BDT per session for couple and family therapy
800 BDT for 2 hours Group session
