Nasirullah Psychotherapy Unit (NPU) has been started its journey as a project funded by a UK based organization named Nasirullah Foundation for five years implemented by the Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Dhaka. After successful completion of its project duration it is now run the Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Dhaka, located at 3rd floor of Arts Building of Dhaka University.
Vision of this unit is to establish psychotherapy society in Bangladesh through providing psychological support to all types of stakeholder including but not limited to individual client, couples, family, and organization.
Our mission is to train medical and non-medical personnel regarding psychotherapy and to offer psychotherapy services to the community.
Aim of this programme is-

• To establish a psychotherapy society in Bangladesh

• Primarily to train medical and non medical personnel in psychotherapy

• Secondarily to offer psychotherapy services
